Young Cooks
Food education can change the world if new generations cook better.
According to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA,), a recent report revealed that "millennials consume food in a restaurant or bar around 30 percent more often than any other generation." Young people also allocates less time to meal preparation than their older counterparts—around just 13 minutes per day, which adds up to nearly an hour less per week than Gen X. But when they do head to the grocery store, they spend more on prepared foods, pasta, and sweets than other age groups. We want to change this!
